How to use HubSpot in dark mode
The Night mode for HubSpot template gives HubSpot a dark theme in your own browser, keeping its accent colours and leaving images alone.

HubSpot has no dark mode. The idea has been In Development since 2026-08-25, but HubSpot says it waits on a design-system migration and gives no date. The Night mode for HubSpot template gives HubSpot a dark theme in your own browser, with no admin setting.
Steps
- In Skins Studio, open Explore, pick Night mode for HubSpot and click Create App.
- On HubSpot, open the Skins side panel from the browser toolbar. The skin is listed under On this page.
- Switch it on. HubSpot reloads in the dark theme.
What you get
- Dark surfaces, with board columns a step darker than the cards on them.
- Light text and dim lines.
- HubSpot’s accent colours (teal buttons, links, tags) keep their hue, brightened to read on dark.
- Not an inverted page: photos, logos and avatars are left as they are.
- The browser is told the page is dark, so scrollbars and form controls match.
Limits
- It maps HubSpot’s own colours, so images, logos and email previews or bodies with their own colours stay light.
- Only in your browser.
- It isn’t HubSpot’s own dark mode. If HubSpot ships one, use that.
- If HubSpot adds new colours, the template may need an update before it darkens those too.
Other options
- HubSpot’s own dark mode: the idea is In Development. No date yet.
- Dark Reader: filters every site you visit. Can distort colours and slow heavy pages.
- Dark Mode for HubSpot extension: paid. Was hard-coded to app.hubspot.com, so it didn’t work on EU accounts (app-eu1).
- Ask HubSpot: vote on the idea.
