Managing your skins
Where a skin is on
Section titled “Where a skin is on”A skin is on wherever its trigger matches the page. Skins work on
ordinary web pages, not on browser pages like chrome://… or the Chrome Web Store.
Getting new versions
Section titled “Getting new versions”The extension loads the published skins of your projects, and of shared projects you’ve opened
(with build access), when you open its side panel or press Refresh
from server. A new skin arrives switched on. A new version reaches a page on its next load.
The Manage tab
Section titled “The Manage tab”- On this page lists the skins on the current page; Other skins, the rest.
- Click a skin for what it does and adds. Technical details shows its trigger; Open in workspace opens its project.
- The skin’s switch turns it off or on. It stays off, even when new versions arrive.
- All skins pauses every skin at once. Each keeps its own setting for when you resume.
Switching reloads the tabs a skin applies to, so the page starts clean.
Removing a skin
Section titled “Removing a skin”- Delete its project in the web app (owner only). Its recordings and requests go with it.
- In the side panel, click the skin, then Delete, in each browser you use Skins in. Deleting the project doesn’t remove copies extensions already have.
Delete in the side panel alone only removes the local copy: while the project exists, the skin comes back the next time the extension loads your skins.
