# How to pin more than one note on a HubSpot record

**HubSpot lets you pin one activity per record. The Pinned notes for HubSpot template adds a Pinned tray that holds up to three notes at the top of a record's activities, in your own browser.**

## Steps

1. In Skins Studio, open **Explore**, pick **Pinned notes for HubSpot** and click **Create App**.
2. On a HubSpot record, open the **Skins** side panel from the browser toolbar. The skin is listed under **On this page**.
3. Switch it on. The record reloads with a **Pin** button next to each note's date.
4. Click **Pin** on a note. It appears in the Pinned tray at the top of the activities.

## What you get

- A Pin button next to the date of every note on the record's activity timeline.
- A Pinned tray at the top of the activities with up to three notes as compact rows: the note's first line and its date, newest pin first.
- An unpin (×) on each row, and "n of 3" in the tray's header.
- Pins are saved in the skin's own database, per record: there the next time the record opens, on any computer, and shared with your teammates if you want them to be.

## Limits

- It holds up to three pinned notes per record.
- It pins notes only, not emails, calls or tasks.
- HubSpot's own single pin is unchanged.

## Other options

- **HubSpot's pin**: one pinned activity per record, visible to the whole team.
- **Properties or one summary note**: put the key facts in record properties, or in a single summary note that you pin with HubSpot's pin.
- **Ask HubSpot**: vote on the idea. Its status is Not Currently Planned; in June 2026 HubSpot said it may explore more pins later this year.
